Blogmas Day 24: The End of Blogmas!

Hello everyone,
Today I wanted to talk about how this is the end of Blogmas. :( I can't believe that I have done 24 blog posts, one after another, for 24 days straight! It surprised me so much! I really want to thanks all of you who have read these blog posts and have stuck by me this month! I really am excited for Christmas now and I can't wait for the morning! I have baked gingerbread today and have also had a very relaxing bath using the Lush Bubble Bar in the scent Christmas Eve, it was only appropriate! I have watched a couple of films today too and am just waiting to go to sleep and for Santa to arrive! I will hopefully do a small post tomorrow but I can't promise anything! I hope you have had an amazing Christmas Eve and I hope you have a brilliant Christmas Day!

Hello everyone,
In today's post I am going to share with you what I asked for for Christmas this year! Now I do want to say that I know that I will not receive all of these gifts, and I am okay with that! My Mum told me to write down everything that I wanted, whatever it is, just write it down. As well, I am going shopping after Christmas, so anything I really want on my list that I didn't get for Christmas, I can buy with my own money! I did put a lot of stuff down but just for that reason so I know that I won't get it all! Just wanted to say that! Without further ado, lets begin!

Blogmas Day 22: Christmas Day Nail Polish Contenders!

Hello everyone,
Today I am going to show you some of the nail polishes I might be wearing on Christmas Day this year. I really like all of the polishes I have chosen but I haven't picked which one I will be wearing yet, so maybe some of you could help me! By the way, they mainly consist of reds and glitters!

1) Barry M Gelly Nail Paint in Blood Orange

This is the newest nail polish to my collection and I think that this will be the one I wear in the end. This polish is your typical bright, Christmassy red colour. I love the formula of these nail polishes too because they feel like gel and stay on for the longest time. Because they have the feel and the texture of gel, it is extremely shiny and smooth on the nails. The colour is really great and vivid and I think it will be a nice, bright polish for Christmas Day.

2) American Apparel Nail Lacquer in Port

This is a really unique maroon polish because it has a slight purple tint to it. It is a sheen to it and looks really classy and dark and I love that it is a mixture between a dark colour and a red. It looks really pretty on the nails too.

3) Essie Nail Polish in Leading Lady

This one, again, is a very classy red that has glitter all throughout it. To get the glitter all over the nail, you have to do two coats, but it looks really pretty and is so worth it! This colour was from last years Christmas collection, so even Essie think it's great for Christmas time!

4) W7 Nail Polish in Cosmic Black

My friend Molly bought this for e for my birthday in October and I love it! It's a black polish with silver specks of glitter running through it. It's perfect for Christmas and New Years because it's stunning but simple at the same time. I really love this polish, but make sure to do two coats because it can look a little streaky on the first one.

5) Revlon Nail Lacquer in 480 Autumn Berry

This nail polish is a plumy, berry colour with a sheen to it and I think it has a slight shimmer. It's really pretty and is a subtle plum colour for Christmas Day because it's not to showy. I really do like this colour and it seems to be popular with the people who see me wearing it. I love wearing this colour with a gold accent nail on my ring finger because there's a small golden shimmer in the polish.

Blogmas Day 16: Christmas Day Traditions!

Hello everyone,
Today I wanted to share my Christmas Day traditions with you because I am feeling extremely Christmassy today, for some reason, so I wanted to talk about the day itself!

Waking up.
I normally wake up at around six, but then lie in bed, drifting in and out of sleep for about half an hour until my brother shouts of me or comes upstairs to wake me up. We then go to my Mum's room and just sit and talk for a while, it's one of my favourite parts. My Dad usually arrives at about seven and he checks first of Santa has been! We wait at the top of the stairs whilst he does that! Then we go downstairs and open presents.

Presents.
From about seven until about eight or half past eight we open presents, including our stockings! I love this part because it's when we are all sat together and are all thankful for everything we receive. then we usually just ring up our family to wish them a Merry Christmas and say thank you for any gifts received.

Christmas Dinner.
We eat Christmas dinner at about two or three, and it's one of the best parts of the day. I love Christmas dinner because again it's a time for us to eat together and just to be around each other and eat together.

The Rest Of The Day.
The rest of the day usually consists of us all lying around and using some of our presents for fun! We sometimes play games and sometimes we watch Christmas Specials that are on the TV and I love it. I normally go to bed at about nine or ten because I want to be up early the next day because we go to my Grandma and Grandad's house to be with everyone who I didn't see on Christmas Day.

Blogmas Day 15: Top 5 Winter Lipsticks!

Hello everyone,
Today I am going to show you my favourite five lipsticks to wear in the Winter time and tell you why I love them!

1) Revlon Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie
This is one that I have been wearing everyday recently because it is a subtle dark berry colour. I also love the formula of these Revlon Lip Butters because they are thick, creamy, moisturising and full of colour! They are each £7.99 and you can buy this one here. There is a little bit of shimmer and glitter in it and it looks really pretty with most eye looks!

2) Revlon Lip Butter in Candy Apple
This is the shiniest, prettiest, solid red colour I have ever put on my lips! Like I said in the previous one, the formulation is to die for! I love it so much and that makes these even more amazing. This one has no glitter but is just shiny and has a sheen to it. You can get it here and try it out!

3) L'oréal Paris Colour Riche Lipstick in Berry Blush
This is exactly like the first one but a little sheerer, making perfect to throw on with any look. Again, this has slight glitter and has a definite sheen. I love this one and I will continue to use it for a really long time. Sadly, this one is discontinued, I think the whole line is actually. I got this when I was about 8 or 9 because my Auntie had enough Boots points to get me, my Mum and her one, so it was my first real lipstick!

4) Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer in Peony
I really love this lipstick because it is basically a lip balm with immense colour and shimmer and glitter. This colour is like a pinky brown and looks really natural on the lips, so I usually use this with a darker eye. It smells and tastes very strongly of peppermint. Because it is from Burt's Bees, it has the feel and the moisture of a lip balm, which is important to me in Winter! Get this here.

5) Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 107
I love this lipstick. It is a very dark, almost matte, if not infact matte and it just dries perfectly on the lips. It isn't too drying but it isn't immensely moisturising. I really like the colour because it is a vampy red and I think it's a nice dramatic lip for really simple eyes.

Blogmas Day 14: Decorations To Make At Home!

Hello everyone,
Today I will show you a few DIYs I found online. I do not know the exact way o do some of these but most are simple and easy to figure out! I will start with the easiest and they will get a bit more complex as I go along, but they are all pretty easy to do! Let's start!

1) Bauble Wine Glass Candle Holder

This one is very simple because all you need is a wine glass, turned upside down, with some baubles inside of it. Then all you have to do is put a candle on the top, and you are good to go!

2) Mistletoes Children's Feet Painting

This is very easy to do because the only things you will need is paint of your choice and a blank canvas, that you can probably find in a pound shop or B&M Bargains. You can do one foot per child you have or, if you only have one child, you can just do both of their feet! Plus you can decorate it in any way with any colours you want!

3) Glitter Candles

This DIY makes any clear candle look really pretty and festive! You need a glitter of your choice and some PVA glue, and obviously a candle jar. Just put the glue wherever you want the glitter, then place the glitter onto the glue and wait for it to dry. That's it! Simple and stunning!

4) Fairy Light, Milk Carton Snowmen

For this, you need an empty milk bottle, battery operated fairy lights and arts and crafts supplies for decorating. These look really nice and I think are a nice little project for children to do!

5) Bottle Cap Snowmen

All you need is three bottle caps per snowman, ribbon to make the loop, pens/markers for the face details and any other supplies for decoration. These just need to be glued together and everything needs to be placed wherever you want it to go!

6) Fabric Wreath

The only problem with this DIY is that you need a lot of fabric. If you can get hold of it though, you should do because it looks really cool! Just tie each piece of cloth around a wire loop, over and over again, until the desired look is achieved. Then put a ribbon on the top to hang it up!

Blogmas Day 11: Sorry!

Hello everyone,
Today I am going to just tell you that all nights this week, I have been working on my school's pantomime, so I haven't been able to do really good posts! This is only short but tomorrows will be a longer one so that I can make up for having a short one today!

Blogmas Day 9: Winterlicious Tag!

Hello everyone,
Today I am doing a tag post that I saw Bethany Mota do this last year and I've wanted to do this ever since! I know I have already done a Christmas Tag here, but this one is all about Winter and not Christmas specifically!

1) Favourite Winter Nail Polish?
I have two favourites that are both from Essie. The first is Leading Lady, which is a gorgeous red with glitter inside of it, and then Beyond Cozy, which is a gold and silver tiny glitter polish! I mentioned both of these in my Top 5 Winter Nail Polish post here.

2) Favourite Winter Lip Product?
I love a colour from L'oréal called Berry Blush, it's just a nice berry colour. For the same reason, I love the Revlon Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie. My favourite red lipstick is from Revlon and it's in Fire and Ice, it's so beautiful!

3) Most Worn Winter Clothing Item?
Recently I have been wearing my big cosy jumpers and cardigans, that I did a post on here.

4) Most Worn Winter Accessory?
I have been wearing my combat boots from Primark, for £18, to death! I will not stop wearing them because they are black, so they go with everything! I love them so much!

5) Favourite Winter Scent/Candle?
I just really like plain vanilla in the winter and I also like my Cranberry Frost room spray from Febreze, give it a smell if you get the chance!

6) Favourite Winter Beverage?
This is kind of obvious, but it's hot chocolate. Plain and simple!

7) Favourite Christmas/Holiday Movie?
I LOVE Elf. It's probably the best! Although I do love Nativity.

8) Favourite Christmas/Holiday Song?
I really like any Christmas song, but mostly the more pop centred ones, but I like most of them!

9) Favourite Holiday Food/Treat?
I answered a question like this in my last tag so I will link that here.

10) What Is Your Favourite Christmas Decoration?
I love our tree because it makes me feel so festive and I just think it looks pretty!

11) What's At The Top Of Your Christmas List?
This year I would really like a nice quality camera, I asked for a Canon but they are very expensive so any nice camera is great!

12) What Are Your Plans For The Holidays?
I'm just going to spend time at home, with my family, eating and sleeping and just having fun!

Blogmas Day 8: Christmas Film Collection!

Hello everyone,
Today I thought it would be fun to show you all of the Christmas films and sitcom specials I own! This will be quite a short one though!

Sitcom Specials

1) Nan's Christmas Carol
This one is a BBC special of the Catherine Tate Show, which I love! This is her character Nan, in a spin off of the famous 'A Christmas Carol'. It is extremely funny but there is a lot of bad language in it, as it is a 15.

2) Gavin and Stacey Christmas Special
I know all the words to this episode, and any other Gavin and Stacey episode in fact! I think this series is really funny and this episode especially!

3) Vicar of Dibley A Very Dibley Christmas
This one, again, is a series I know all of the words to and I absolutely love all of the Christmas Specials that come in the full boxset.

4) Miranda
I have this on DVD with the rest of the series and I love these. Miranda is one of my favourite programmes and I can't wait for it to come back this Winter.

5) Christmas With The Simpsons
This is a collection of Christmas specials from The Simpsons over the years. They are all older ones but I still like to watch this every now and again.

Films

1) Elf
This is my all time favourite Christmas films! I love it so much because it always makes me feel festive and is so funny! I think this film is one of the best and have already watched it three times in December.

2) Nativity
This is my second favourite! I think I love it because I can relate to the children having to do a Nativity play and this is just a really special one that always makes me cry! I feel a real connection to this one too!

3) The Holiday
This film technically is not classed as a Christmas film, but it is set at Christmas time, so I say it is! I love this film so much and feel so Christmassy when I watch this romantic comedy!

4) How The Grinch Stole Christmas
This is a film that most of the world has seen and I really like this film. It's not my favourite but I do enjoy it when I watch it. It does make me feel very Christmassy and festive though!

5) Four Christmasses
This film is really funny but it's not a favourite really, only because it doesn't make me feel too Christmassy!

6) A Christmas Carol
This is the version that Disney made and I don't really like it at all. It's not very good at all I think. Maybe it was better at the cinemas, in 3D, but I can't imagine it!

Blogmas Day 7: Christmas Decorations!

Hello everyone,
Today I am going to show you how my Mum and I decorated the house for Christmas.

The first thing we did was put up our Christmas Tree! I love how it turned out! Our theme was red and gold and green, although there is a bit of pink and blue in there!

We put our mistletoe wreath up on the door too.

Then we put this leafy, green banner over the fireplace which I really like!

Then we decided to put these baubles on ribbons above the windowsill which I think look really cool!

My Mum always puts out this small Santa Claus statue, which I think looks really sweet!
